Dr. Nicole Rivera Vargas DMD

Dr. Rivera Vargas was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She received her D.M.D from the School of Dental Medicine in Puerto Rico and graduated Cum Laude. After finishing her studies, she decided to gain more experience by undergoing an additional year of a General Practice Residency in the Federico Trilla Hospital in Puerto Rico.

Dr. Rivera has worked as a volunteer dentist in missionary trips to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Saint Vincent, Dominican Republic, Vietnam and Myanmar. This experience has helped her to build relationships with people from different backgrounds. She is the Assistant Dental Director of the World Health Ambassador organization.

Dr. Rivera is passionate about her work and makes it a priority that our patients feel welcome and to know that they are part of our dental family. When seeing Dr. Rivera, patients can expect to have a thorough evaluation, never feeling rushed or unheard. She believes it is important to involve her patients in their treatment. “It is important to involve my patients in the decision making for treatment and to educate them to the best of my abilities, so that they may know the importance of oral hygiene and dental care.  Oral health is a teamwork effort, and doing more at home means less to do at the dentist!” Dr. Rivera is committed to helping every patient have a healthy mouth. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Dr. Rivera speaks Spanish fluently and is more than happy to receive the Hispanic population.

Dr. Rivera is happily married with a beautiful son.
